Biography

In the age of social media where today’s current rap artists often choose to chase clout or embellish the details of their life for dramatic effect, West Orlando rapper Tonii Boil boasts a refreshing transparency born out of a tumultuous childhood and chaotic adult life:
“I’m just trying to give some type of hope, that I feel wasn’t given to me. You may hear them in my songs today still.”
Equally captivated by tracks from charismatic lyricists like 2Pac and Ma$e, Tonii Boii also looked up to Sunshine state star’s such as Trick Daddy, Red Dogg and an uncle who belonged to 90s chart-topping group 69 Boyz.
By the time Tonii Boil reached Edgewater High and began losing complete interest in the curriculum, as well as severe asthma preventing sports participation, he began recording in local studios with friends at age 16 while also fully entrenched in surviving street life by any means necessary.
Beginning at age 15, Tonii would rack up 13 arrests on variety of hustling-related charges yet still work on his craft and record songs, occasionally opening up for headlining acts such as Gucci Mane with his musical affiliates.
