His music spans the topics of body positivity, Dungeons & Dragons, Professional Wrestling, Police Brutality and the Black struggle and everything in-between. In 2019 he was voted overwhelming Minnesota's Best New Artist (Citypages) and was the headlining act for First Avenue's Best New Bands of 2020. Voted Best Live Performance in 2021 and Voted Best Musician of 2022 (TC Collective). Nur-D has performed at US Bank Stadium, Soundset, Paisley Park, the Target Center and more!
