Born and raised in homewood, IL, Jason Shepherd "J Shep" has been a fixture within the gospel industry for nearly 2 decades. His debut project, "Jason Shepherd & Another Level Songs Volume 1" immediately made an impact on the Chicago gospel scene in 2005. Known for his catchy worship hooks, and smooth vocal arrangements, J Shep became a highly respected writer and artist. His most recent project, "Potential 2 Purpose" debuted in the top 50 on billboard gospel charts in March 2015. In March 2018, J Shep has exploded back on the scene with a new single entitled “Blessings”. An energy filled song that is sure to ignite audiences around the world. Now residing in Los Angeles with his wife Stacie, and their 2 wonderful children Brooke and Jonah, J Shep has accepted his calling to the ministry and recently became an ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ. His purpose in life is to motivate people to find their purpose through God and their gifts.
