OH- TAH- KU "De'-Vil" FAH-THER Was born September 16, 1996 in Lake Charles, Louisiana & after moving to live in Houston, Texas OTAQU had a hard time finding himself amongst his peers, an anime/cartoon loving kid, with a love for dance and not following the norm', OTAQU was usually with his mother always moving year round, and he felt as if he could never solidify a place in this world for himself as long as he didn't have something to call his own so he began dabbling in music production. Late 2015 he was discovered by Nechi Vittion and taken under his wing to learn producing under the group "THE HXLY CXVST." Over the next few years OTAQU would develop an ear for "Mellow-Hype" music, a genre he claimed all his own as well as early adoptions of Melodic Trap & R&B. Proceeding to make songs like "Saddie", "H O T E L S T O R Y", & "Dollar General" just to name a few recently. Early 2018 OTAQU had come back from the American military and decided to put all his focus into music dropping 2 projects roughly about a year apart and moving traction in his local area. There his music teacher introduced him to a long time friend SLEEME YACE, where as they both hit it off with their first song together named "Rhyhorn" & continued to make more music such as "On My Block" once OTAQU was deemed an honorary "SLEEME." Both his soft tones & melodic melodies infused with his emotional 808's and vibey drum patterns seem to be taking OTAQU on the path to success .
