Ben Dey is a folk-inspired singer-songwriter from Cape Town, South Africa. Originally the frontman for South African band, the Concrete Lions, Ben is known for cultivating songs that echo evocative storytelling. Drawing inspiration from African folk traditions, Ben pays homage to his roots. His sound cultivates a unique blend of Americana and African acoustic melodies that is uniquely his own. His debut single, Still You, showcases his captivating ability to produce a poetic and emotive sound that is also energized and electric. Currently, Ben is working on releasing a series of singles as part of his upcoming solo project, set to be released in 2024/2025.
