Brazilian musician/composer Pedro Noleto has already released three albums, ten singles and one EP. He plays electric and acoustic guitars and bass, creating instrumental tracks mostly mixing blues, classic rock, smooth jazz and Latin influences. His sound is soft with some punch, groovy rhythms and soulful solos. He recently started collaborations with jazz/pop/blues singer Mario Salimon, highly acclaimed keyboardist Jeff Levine and electronic music producer Marcelo Sirotsky. He is also beginning to contribute as a soundtrack producer for a new television series. A former journalist with a doctorate in political communication, he worked 40 years in the media & communication sector. But music has always been his passion since his teens, when his grandpa gave him an acoustic guitar; soon after he got his first electric from his dad. Although a self taught musician, in the late seventies he had some lessons with his friend virtuoso guitarist Victor Biglione. That led to him, as a young adult in his hometown Rio de Janeiro, being invited to play lead guitar with local rock bands (Acidente, Nascente, Enigma). Then there's a big time gap when, living in Brasilia, he only played to his own amusement, but freely began to keep his chops studying jazz guitar online.
