Rodrigo Barros, was born on April 20, 1979 in São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo - Brazil. From an early age, he showed an interest in music, starting his trek at age 12, with his first guitar. He studied with great teachers like Wilson Gava, Silas Fernandes and Eduardo Ardanuy (ex-Dr Sin). He is a musician, multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer and arranger. He went through countless bands and musical projects, achieving prominence with the bands Swipe, Loyal War and with the metal projects Deadly Omen and "Orquestra de Guitarras" (The Guitar Orchestra) and with the bands Magnus Lumen, (as a founding member, leader and main composer). As a producer/arranger, he joined forces with drummer Caio Gaona! Most recently, he took part in the reunion of power metal band Arghon, as a guitarrist. Since childhood he had experimented with recordings and overdubs with K7 tapes and a double deck sound system. Over the years, interest in multi-track recording increased when in 2005, he had access to his first professional sound card. Since then, having decided to learn everything he could, he taught with great names like Tomi Terahata and Fernando Quesada (formerly Shaman / Noturnall / A.N.I.E.) for EM&T, Loudon Stearns (Berklee College of Music), Paulo Anhaia and Marcelo Claret, at IAV - Institute of Audio and Video.
