Born in Naples, Italy, living in the USA, Letizia Gambi is an awarded singer, songwriter and actress considered one of the most interesting and talented italian Jazz singers. She has a 360° education, she has studied dancing, acting, musicals, singing and painting. She writes and sings in English, Italian and Spanish. Letizia graduated with a Masters Degree in Jazz Vocal Performance at the Jazz School “Civici Corsi di Jazz” of Milan. Her first 2 albums are produced by Miles Davis’s pupil, multi Grammy Award winner drummer Lenny White. She has worked with cast of stellar players including Gato Barbieri, Chick Corea, Ron Carter, Wallace Roney, Patrice Rushen and many others. Letizia is among the first Italian artists to become a Recording Academy voting member. She was also one of the first Italians to run for a Grammy award with her albums "Introducing Letizia Gambi" and "Blue Monday". Letizia’s music is a combination between her Neapolitan-Italian roots and Black American Jazz heritage. Her mediterranean passion speaks through the Jazz language and sensitivity.
