Steven Adams fronted The Broken Family Band throughout the 2000s, and Singing Adams for the following four years. His first solo release was 2014's home recorded House Music, with contributions from Dan Mangan, Justin Young (The Vaccines), John Smith, Emily Barker and Inge Thomson. The introspective Old Magick, produced by Dan Michaelson followed in 2016, on the much-missed Fortuna POP! label. Virtue Signals was released in May 2018, with Adams now joined by The French Drops, including members of psych-folk oddballs The Drink. Keep It Light followed in August 2020, a record completed just days before The Great Lockdown. A new album - DROPS - is out on Fika Recordings in November 2023.
