Biography

Bellman is a Norwegian alternative singer/songwriter whose debut album, Mainly Mute, was a breakout hit in 2009, garnering critical accolades and featuring the popular single "Spaceship, Move Slow." Born Arne-Johan Rauan and hailing from Larvik, Norway, the singer/songwriter cites influences that include contemporary experimental Pop/rock bands such as Sigur Rós and Radiohead, Beach Boys and the Beatles. Bellman made his album debut in 2009 with Mainly Mute. The album reached the #6 on the Norwegian albums chart the first week.
His second album The Curse, released in 2010, also received brilliant reviews and the single Olivia was listed on Norway´s biggest radio station for over 10 weeks.
In 2013 Bellman released his third album "Melopoiïa", which was awarded amazing reviews from all over the world. In addition, one of the songs on the album (Accident By Art) was used in the official trailer for the new documentary on the legendary fotball player Paul "Gazza" Gascoigne.
He dropped his fourth album in 2017, called MORPHOLOGY, and one of the songs (Can You Feel It?) recently scored a prestigious sync in the trailer for the star studded movie How To Talk To Girls At Parties (2017).
Bellmans fifth studio album MELATONIN CHRONICLES (2022) is now out! Social links: www.bellmanmusic.com www.facebook.com/bellmanmusic www.twitter.com/bellmanmusic
