Jinxed born Kofi Kinte Phelps is a producer, publisher, rapper, beatmaker, music engineer, recording artist, composer and writer of Hip Hop music and lyrics. Jinxed was born in Oakland, California as one of 2 children. His family and him then moved to Tucson, Arizona at age 13. Once in Arizona, Jinxed started to be exposed to inner city life of gangs and drugs where at 18 he found himself doing 3 years in prison for selling drugs to undercover police officers. Once he became a free man he went legit and focused on writing and recording songs while promoting and performing at his own events. His music is inspired by his life experiences and touches on the topics that make you look at life in a new perspective. Jinxed recently inked a deal with 100K Music Group in 2022 whom is affiliated with EMPIRE distribution. In 2022 they won three AZ Mixtapes Awards: Tucson 2022 Videographer Of The Year 100KFILMS'Tucson 2022 Recording Studio Of The Year Phoenix 2022 Graphic Designer Of The Year. Jinxed just released his first full length LP with 100K Music Group "The Crowned Goats" Vol 1 with a couple of features with Krizz Kaliko and others. Some of Jinxed musical influences come from 2-Pac, Eminem, T.I., Chief Keefe, Gucci Mane, E-40, and Outkast. With these inspirations combined Jinxed creates a well-versed original sound. Very diverse and has a library of music from trap bangers that keep your head nodding, to slower melodic songs that make you reflect on life.
