Housefly (Cedric de Saint-Rome) is a composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist (drums, classical and jazz piano, percussion, guitar, saxophone, and ukulele) from Montreal. Having been signed to grammy-winning publishing house Prescription Songs by A&R exec and T-Pain's former manager Rocco Valdes at age 20, Housefly creates genre-bending works that break apart and fuse elements from countless styles including jazz, hip hop, blues, electronic dance music, and classical. 
 
 
 Canadian by birth, Housefly’s multinational background (counting Finnish, Swedish, French, and Haitian among his recent ancestries) contributes a multi-platform melodic and rhythmic sensitivity to his music, which resonates with audiences from North American adolescents to European classical music buffs. His Royal Conservatory examinations, awards in classical piano competitions, and establishment in the Canadian jazz scene would probably come as a surprise to those who follow him as Housefly.
