VEHA is the melodic project of Norwegian musician and producer Heine Ve Haugan. He unveiled his debut EP on Le Youth’s label PRGRSSN Records in 2021 and gave a taster of what the VEHA sound is all about; vibrant atmospheres, nostalgic synths and tasty melodies, all enveloped by steady house grooves. The next year his follow-up EP ‘Golden Cellophane’ landed, and the opening track ‘Where We Belong’ became one of SiriusXM chill’s most played tunes of 2022. The same year VEHA took part in Le Youth’s debut album on This Never Happened with their collaboration Skin of Gold feat. MØØNE. In 2023 he had his debut on Colorize Music through the 5th volume of their renowned annual compilation album ‘Colorscapes’ with his track ‘Swimming’. The same year VEHA also started his own self-titled monthly radio show on Bergen based radio verslib.re, exploring combinations of melodic house and genres like ambient and folk.
