Matteo Di Biase (Wise Koala) is an Italian guitarist and producer originally from Basilicata and transplanted to Bologna for several years. He began his career at a very young age, mainly carrying out an instrumental activity, graduating in jazz guitar first at the Matera conservatory and then at the Bologna conservatory. Over the years he shares the stage with various national and international artists including Roy Paci, Rocco Papaleo, Fabrizio Bosso, Andrea Tofanelli, Andrea Lucchi etc ... After having accumulated different musical experiences and having experimented with different styles starting from classical music through reggae with the well-known Lucanian band Krikka Reggae and ending up in jazz and the most exasperated contemporary environment becomes a producer and often collaborates with the Bolognese producer Ohm Guru (Riccardo Rinaldi) and with various artists of the jazz and pop Emilian scene including Massimo Greco ( Ligabue), Alessandro Meroli, Alberto Sansò etc ... So "WISE KOALA" was born precisely in the spring of 2020 with the debut album entitled "WELCOME" after which several songs in collaboration with the aforementioned and other artists will follow. In 2021 the single "Revans" first comes out accompanied by a psychedelic animation and shortly after "Acceptance". Currently he is already working on other fronts such as the live world and the training of live performance
