Songwriter and producer of his own music, Hector Sotelo has been creating Latin Christian music for two decades. His first album "El Lugar" was nominated by Premios Arpa for "Best new artist" and "Best Pop/Rock Album". His second album "Una Vez Más" was nominated by Premios Arpa for "Best Pop/Rock Album" and for "Best Artwork". His third album "Mi Declaración" was nominated by Dove Awards for "Best Spanish Language Album". He was one of the only two Latin artists featured on Charisma Magazine as one of the top 40 modern worship artists in a major article of their July 2003 issue "It's a worship revolution". Currently he is a worship Pastor at Sugar Creek en Español in Sugar Land, Texas.
