河野直己のひとりプロジェクト。2010年より本格的な活動を開始し、ALTEMA RecordsやMaltine Recordsといった国内主要オンライン･レーベルより楽曲をリリース。作品ごとにスタイルを変え、ポップ、ロック、エレクトロニカ、ジャズ、ワールド・ミュージック等様々な音楽を内包した楽曲を制作。 2015年には、西山小雨（nightmeal, ex-雨先案内人）や、ざびえるをボーカルに迎えた、自身初となる全国流通盤『Simultaneity』をリリース。そのほか、リミックスや、映像作品への楽曲提供など、幅広く活動している。 Charlot is a musical project by Naoki Kono. Since 2010, he has released music from major Japanese online labels such as ALTEMA Records and Maltine Records. Changing his style with each piece of work, he creates music influenced by a variety of musical styles including pop, rock, electronica, jazz and world music. In 2015, he released his first album "Simultaneity", featuring Cosame Nishiyama (nightmeal, ex-Amesaki Annainin) and Zabieru on vocals. In addition, he is active in a wide range of other fields, including remixing and providing music for video works.
