hi im vic, a 23 year old self-taught artist from houston that's been producing since 2020. my music is ever-changing by representing emotions, energies, & my interests at a single point in time (like a journal). im currently striving to build a multi-genre platform with an open mind and fresh ears to push my ideas in an audio/visual format. I began to produce music after clocking out of work, making myself learn the ins & outs of my newly bought DAWs/synths by playing with every button, knob, & slider. often times I would just buy a 6 pack and spend countless hours in pursuit of a better understanding...to get to a point of comfortability with laying down my ideas. as I was doing so, I built a network of likeminded artists & producers, which in turn led to my music being heard. shortly after, I released my very first tracks under drypnosis such as swampy, war, & woi. these tracks set the foundation for my later music being heard, which got the attention of a few small dubstep labels such as railbreakers, dubhub, & bass planet collective. after landing those releases my tracks were heard by bigger artists such as INFEKT & Subtronics. eventually I started to go back to school, which in turn, brought my production to a halt. as im typing this Im realizing how much momentum I had and what could've been if I had stayed consistent, but that's why im here again, to show the world who I am. if you would like to hear more drypnosis, click here: https://www.hopp.bio/drypnosis
