Born Andrea Luciano Rossi (aka Andre) on June 23, 1990 in Reggio Emilia, Italy, D.R.E. grew up with nearly no exposure to music during his childhood. At the age of 16, the gift of a rock CD along with some physical injuries initiated a turning point. He took up guitar lessons and started joining local bands to expand his knowledge of music and songwriting. The desire to produce his own music led him to gain interest in piano, drums, and bass playing, crossing the borders of different musical genres. The study of singing and Latin dancing techniques gradually blended in over the years helping to shape new creative perspectives. Spending time in both the United States and Latin America, the English and Spanish languages played a fundamental role in this process and the 2019 “Hasta Que Se Canse El Cielo” reggaeton single is D.R.E.'s first bilingual song. "Al Suelo" followed shortly after featuring a new sound enriched with strong Caribbean influences at slower tempo. The third single "Qué Pasó" represents D.R.E.'s first step into the bachata world through a track fully sung in Spanish.
