Paintafresco is a 25 year old Zimbabwean Rapper, Singer/Songwriter, Executive Producer & Actor. He boasts 21 years of performance experience, having been trained in music and theatre since the age of 3. He has 8 years of experience recording in studio as an artist, having started at age 16. He can actively be found on stages as a professional actor at Reps Theatre, as well as in a Zimbabwean television series titled, 'Mugariro'. Paintafresco has performed alongside some of the biggest African artists including Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Boity & Nadia Nakai. Paintafresco has released 2 EP's to date: 'Brush Strokes EP' in 2020 containing 8 songs; and 'R.I.P. Meant to Be' in 2022 containing 3 songs with music videos for each. Between and around those projects he has released a string of singles that keep getting better with each release. Some of his latest offerings are his soulful collaboration with Ernimarr on 'Sleepless Nights', his motivational war-cry-like 'MaZhetts' and 808 heavy braggadocio filled 'Dubai'. Painta has spoken about his excitement for what is to come as he has been working on a new sound that incorporate more African flavours to his bag of bars and melodies. In 2024 he intends to explore Afrocentrism while simultaneously still feeding his beloved fans the bar-heavy Hip-Hop/ Trap music they've come to know and love from him.
