ShowBanned originally was a pseudonym for doing under-the-radar remix projects he was involved with. He has always made music that is slightly outside of the Venn diagram of established Electronic genres. Originally from Manchester, UK, where he learned his musician and production skills, he now lives and works from his home studio in beautiful central Italy. He has remixed, amongst others, Hakan Lidbo, Rae & Christian, and Nineteen Ninety. Ben was half of the production duo “Truant” that produced releases for Manchester record labels Paperecordings, Grand Central Records, Glasgow’s Sole Music and the South African label, Rogue Decibels. Most recently he has released music on his own label Micia Recordings and London based production music label, Thousand Mile Music. His music has had airplay on BBC Radio1, Radio 6, Virgin Radio and his music has been used globally for BBC TV programmes.
