Biography

Georgia W. Alô is a soul woman. Her powerful voice, full of style and extension is influenced by the great american female soul, blues and jazz singers. The love for this music style came threw her fathers musical taste. 
 With the age of 7, she started to sing in children choirs in Germany and her debut on a stage was with 15. 
 Geórgia performed over the years at Carnegie Hall in New York and other countries. The artist made a Colab on the Cd of the Brazilian composer an arranger, Leandro Braga, who played with Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque and others. Leandro Braga was nominated for the Latin Grammy. 
 Georgia had the great bassist of Gilberto Gil, Arthur Maia, on her show when she released her DVD. In 2014, the artist performed with Alexandre Carlo, the bandleader of the Brazilian reggae band “Natiruts”. She also opened the show of the disco queen Gloria Gaynor, in Brazil. Georgia performed on several Musicfestivals in Brazil and had the opportunity to share the same stage Stanley Jordan did. 
 Georgia W. Alô is a multitalented artist, that writes and performes in diferent languages. Her first studio album “Dance Soul” was released in 2006. Her first DVD was released in 2009. In 2018 the artist released her EP “Let it out”. The albums were written by her and reflect her life experiencies and perceptions about relation- and friendships and society. 
 On October 16th she is releasing her new single “SOU” (I am).
