Born of a Haitian father and a British mother , rising rapper Yung Dyl began working on his craft well before he even got to high school in his hometown of Stamford , Connecticut. “ I actually tried to record and rap in elementary school . I was always rap battling friends in the hallway or at lunch”. He listened to everything and everyone, but it was the music of Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Drake and Meek Mill that made the biggest impressions. He put all of these influences in to a blender and came up with his own unique style, putting melody into his rap, and combining live instruments with trap beats. 
 In 10th grade he took his game to the next level. “One day a girl f***ked me over , and I wrote a song about it and actually recorded it on a beat , added some mixing and put it out. From then on I knew I wanted to do this”. Live shows soon followed, along with a constant flow of new records. Eventually all this activity caught the eye of SRP Records, the company that discovered and signed global megastar Rihanna. Yung Dyl now has a next level team of producers, writers and beat makers , and he is ready to take on the world . “This is my dream , and soon everybody’s gonna know my name”.
