Dave Loew is an Australian cellist with a forty-year international career in classical music. He has performed in Australia, Great Britain, and many other countries, where his large album catalogue of recordings has sold in many hundreds of thousands. Dave has studied with one of the music world's most iconic teachers of cello, English cellist Christopher Bunting. His career has spanned a wide and diverse number of musical genres, having acted as principal cello in major orchestras and as a soloist in live concerts, radio, and television. Dave has worked with some of the most renowned conductors and impresarios in the world, including Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Sir Cameron Mackintosh. Dave's passion for music has led him to write his memoir and biography, "I Am Cellist," which was released in 2020 to critical acclaim. He has also started writing a series of fiction novels exploring the intersection of classical music and storytelling.
