Live Yatta is a recording and performing artist based in College Park, Maryland whose music combines elements of punk, rock and hip-hop. Bellamy has been making music since his sophomore year of high school and he is now a junior at the University of Maryland. In that time, Live Yatta has released three albums — Long Live EP, Long Live 2 and Mophead — as well as a number of singles, music videos and accompanying art. All three albums can be found on Spotify, iTunes, Tidal and Soundcloud. He has performed primarily in the DC club circuit, however, coming off the release of his latest project, Mophead, he gained more publicity. In December, Live Yatta received his first published review from the Global Money World’s Global Media Blog for his song “My First Punk Song.” In February, he also hosted an event at the Velvet Lounge for his birthday. The show featured other local DC artists, including some involved with Long Live. Now, Live Yatta is preparing for his first festival appearance at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. He will be performing a set on the Live Nation stage sponsored by Open Gem Entertainment. Live Yatta has worked to create an expanding community of artists under the Long Live umbrella that includes performing artists, photographers, videographers, writers and graphic designers. Any work on the songs to this point has been done by Live Yatta himself, including all recording, mixing and mastering.
