Nerf Mophix is a collaborative project between cousins Eirik Korvald Wenner and Jan Andresen, based in Norway. They began their musical journey in various projects, but they were eventually drawn to electronic music, which led to the formation of Nerf Mophix in November of 2011. At that point in time their music was heavily influenced by EDM. Their first official release was in 2013 with the single Higher featuring vocals by Anna Slinning. They released their first album Octagon and the single After I Go featuring vocals by Rudi Remme the same year. In 2014 they released two EPs: ART / WORK and Skydive. The following year their music took a new turn towards the more melodic and less bass driven music with the release of the EP Avant Garde. In 2015 they participated in the Emergenza Festival in Oslo with their first live set. On Nerf Mophix’ second album, Nocturnal (2016), the duo switched to more vocal-oriented songwriting, with help from singer/songwriter Lenea. Later in 2016 they also released the EP Shift and a cover version of Jai Paul's song BTSTU. In 2017 they released various singles, and a remix for british producer Copperknob with whom they released the single Astral Projection (2016). They released their EP Remember in early 2018. The duo currently list RnB, future, indie-pop and indie electronic as their main sources of inspiration.
