Born and raised in Southampton, NY.
 Brandt creates primarily bass music under the name "Stoic". He started producing in 2020 and became enthralled with all aspects of music production.
 Everyone has their philosophies they admire, maybe even their own.

The one he related most to is Stoicism in times of adversity.

An ancient Greek philosophical school of thought where the goal is to live rationally in accordance with virtue.

It doesn’t mean being emotionless; but being unconquered by them.

It means that you don't become pulled by the strings of fame, fortune, or power. If you acquire those things, you use them wisely. If you lose them, you do not wish to have them back.

Brandt doesn’t consider himself a Stoic philosopher or a Sage. He chose the name because he wants to use it as a template, a reminder to be the most virtuous human being one can be in any given circumstance or situation. Even adversity.

As long as he’s aiming to be his best, as an artist and as a human; thats all one can control.
