Lexx Stokes is a 24 year old independent artist from Maryland who’s angelic voice and unique cadence has seperated them from the pack of rising artist in the DMV area. Lexx began writing and recording in their basement at the age of 15 and by 18, they had already began collaborating with others. They launched their brand DUALITY in 2020. Over the course of the next couple of years, Lexx continued to evolve their sonic direction and artistry, appearing on numerous projects including Gloryuss’ debut album DIVINE, which lead to a core friendship in their life as well as a key part of their journey as an artist. In Limbo, a project of theirs released the following year, generated alot of underground traffic, as they perfected many different genres and sub genre’s of hip hop such as Drill and Alternative Pop. 2022 may have been their most consistent and notarized year to date as they released catchy loosies such as “real pressure”, a melodic 7 track ep “Glitchingg” and assisted Rated-R Playboy on “You So Nasty’I Miss You,” a record that charted on iTunes in both the US and France! They’re slated to capitalize on that momentum by releasing their first project of 2023 in the first quarter of the new year.
