Hello Ego creates fragmented beats and shattered melodies of a neon-drenched dystopia. After years in the classical and experimental electronic music world, Hello Ego was drawn to the hypnotic beats, complex rhythms, and otherworldly sounds that define the genre, and turned his attention towards music production. Combining intense beats with intricate, glitched-out melodies and mind-bending basses, Hello Ego has developed a style that was all his own, influenced heavily by the use of hardware and modular synths. His music has been featured on some of the most exciting stages in the world, including The Village at the 2022 Shambhala Opening Ceremonies, and he has collaborated with a wide range of artists from across the musical spectrum. Aside from his music production, Hello Ego explores a love of teaching. Currently he serves as an instructor at the Icon Collective College of Music in Los Angeles, CA, and in 2018 he co-founded Bleeps+Loops, a music education and event promotion organization. Through Icon Collective and Bleeps+Loops, he has worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, helping them to develop their own unique sound and teaching them the technical skills needed to bring their music to life.
