Since 2012 the Vienniese artist Nicole Jaey is active as music producer, singer, songwriter and liveact. Her music is atmospheric and bass-driven. It's ranging between Electronica, House, Bass and Pop, mostly in combination with her remarkable voice. Her Double-EP debut release gained extensive radio airplay on Austria's alternative radio station FM4. She was FM4 Soundparkact of the month and entered their Charts with her song "Gentle Shiver". Press classifies her style, a junction of electronica, house, bass music and singer-songwriter pop,as particularly exciting. She produces her music by herself, but also places emphasis on collaborations with fellow musicians such as Harry Jen, Curtiss Cobane, caTekk and many more. Her collaborational album with the producer and multi-instrumentalist Harry Jen is called "Jaeyn". Elements from styles as diverse as soul, pop, wonky, house, chill trap and future garage are used to paint a bigger picture.In Live shows she performs solo with an electronic Live-set and her voice, often accompanied by Visual Artists as e.g. Luma Launisch or Nita. When playing with a larger ensemble, support comes from Harry Jen on the keyboard and Raphael Rameis (Catastrophe & Cure) on the Drums. 2019 her new EP Colors gets released. Some things have changed, but not everthing. Less Trap and more Soul, less House and more subtle arrangements show an obvious artistic development and the inclusion of different musical inspirations - from Jazz to Cloud.
