Nasty Mars is a rapper, singer, producer and musician hailing from south eastside Melbourne's 3805. A string of collaborative efforts with R&B Soul outfit The Martians saw Nasty Mars create an experience of must see live shows in the vein of legendary R&B and Soul predecessors that hallmarked the history of underground Melbourne music circa 2016-2019. A long hiatus has seen Nasty Mars produce a new solo effort in 2024, with a stronger focus on the environment he grew up in, and through a genre blend of Hip-Hop, Rap, Trap, Soul, R&B, Jazz, and Reggae, that has been aptly self defined as "LULLABIES FROM THE ORCHID GHETTO".
