Matteus Jording, Swedish music producer based in Lund, moves freely in the spectrum between hip-hop, alternative R&B and Neo-Soul. Coming from a musical family matteus was exposed to many different types of sounds at an early age. His musical influences comes from a wide range of different artists and producers such as Madlib, Knxwledge, Monte Booker, Stevie Wonder, Terrace Martin and Robert Glasper. Matteus Jording's musical career began in 2018 when he joined at that time the newly formed hiphop-group SAFARI as a producer. The group already consisted of the three founding members Viggo Skoglund, Sixten Öberg and Otto Skoog. In early 2018 SAFARI issued their first two singles, Peter Pan and Vibe, both of which received both local and national recognition. Later that year their debut album "vagörde?" was released independently. In June 2020 hiphop/R&B collective Fugitive Familia was founded. The collective consist of both artists and producers from south Sweden. They move freely in the spectrum of hiphop and R&B and master sounds from spacious soul ballads to hard hitting trap tracks. Artists and producers such as elemy, NAHOM, YiGZAW, Jade Litchfield, Mark Phase, By Any Means, Gabriel Drew, Ambessa, Adam Lorentzi and Nanou can be found within the collective.
