Stefan Rusconi (pianist/musician/composer) and former member of the jazz/experimental band Rusconi lives in Berlin with family and friends. After touring for many years globally with Rusconi the band disbanded in 2017. Stefan continued composing and collaborating on innovative projects including Until Our Hearts Stop directed by Meg Stuart and collaborations with Tobias Preisig in the project Levitation. He has performed at major festivals worldwide and will release his first solo piano album SOLACE on Oct 25th 2024, which marks a deeply personal rebirth. The album processes the tragic death of his friend and collaborator Paul L., an event that left Rusconi shattered and forced him to confront dark memories from his childhood. Over time, music became his path to healing and reconnecting with life and loved ones. SOLACE is an expression of gratitude to those who helped him through his darkest times, offering a mess of hope, resilience, and the courage to face inner demons. Through his music, Rusconi shares his journey of healing, encouraging others not to give up.
