An up and coming producer/DJ in the Australian bass music scene, WYN has been playing hard-hitting and genre diverse sets at major venues almost every weekend since the launch of her project in mid-2016. Her short career so far has already seen her play shows alongside some of the biggest names in underground bass music worldwide, securing slots on Australian festivals such as Listen Out, Origin Fields and Breakfest. Inspired by the likes of Clams Casino, FKA Twigs, and Sevdaliza from the hip hop and alt-music realms, as well as bass music artists such as Ivy Lab, Alix Perez and Mr Carmack, WYN's production style spans across a wide range of genres, with a focus on drum & bass, halftime, and alternative hip hop. With several heavier drum and bass releases under her belt, such as ‘A Meeting’ and ‘DOT’, as well as other soul-infused tracks that feature her own vocals, WYN is establishing herself as a unique name in Australian club music. WYN’s tracks have been played on BBC Radio One, and she recently featured on Triple J’s Mix Up DJ series, which she followed with a series of single releases such as ‘Ganges’ - part of a compilation album from the Perth Halftime collective known as ‘New Forms’, a record label and events crew that she runs with friends.
