Rap Artist and song writer. Born in a town called Dunedin on the coast of the South Island in New Zealand. Music journey started in the year 2020, with her first release in December that same year, Palm to tha tree. Soon after she was asked to perform at the Otepoti Hip-Hop Hustle for the following year in March 2021. To date , Tali JOY has Released a 5 track E.P, 8 Singles, 3 Music Videos and 8 live performances here in New Zealand. Tali JOY weaves words together in a magical way , to tell her story and views on life, mastered together with crafted beats purchased from local and international Music artists and Producers. Growing up , Tali JOY was surrounded by all kinds of music , from Dolly Parton to Bob Marley, all types of genres. Being apart of Maori and Polynesian culture activities helped in the forming of her voice and stage presence. Being told by her primary school teacher, that she was very good at writing a descriptive story and hearing her brothers rap group performing, loving the way they flowed, helped her in the style of how she writes and rap today.
