Analog Junky is a group of aspiring astrophysicists vibrating to neopsychedelic tunes and spinning glitch art visuals. Emerging from the underground indie scene of Lubbock, TX in 2022, they are known for performing for psychonaut conventions and being from the generation of people who miss Blockbuster. The group's signature groove recipe calls for guitarist Gavin Niebuhr's warm bluesy feel cascading over the ambient tune of keyboard/vocalist Jordan McCullough's synthesizer and introspective vocals. Michael Nunn anchors the sound with hearty bass tones, and Nathan Swain's avant-garde drums energize the mix. The eclectic group's self-titled debut is now out as the Analog Junky journey continues.
