Currently living in Mexico as a philanthropist and with God being foremost in his life Rik comes from the rave scene in 1991. He has been spinning live and mixing dance vibes since 95' as one of the influential DJ's in pioneering the electronic dance scene in Colorado. Coming from a music becground he has performed alongside legendary DJ's while living and journeying through different parts of the world which played a big part in the electronic spectrum of genres that has led him to the style and energy that inspires him to evolve behind the decks at each performance. What gets him excited most is when people get moved by the different styles of house, dark disco, Indy dance, progressive, minimal and techno he has been blessed to discover from other producers and his own productions influenced from sounds he picked up from abroad. His recent productions are a bi-product of his Costa Rican roots and the Latin electronic and indigenous culture that he has naturally embraced after journeying from an early age through rock n’ roll, punk rock, underground 90’s hip hop and eventually to the current music that he has been blessed to discover deep within the crates. Rik has always been on the forefront of the underground scene in tune with the next movement to hit the dance floor. When he is not playing his own tracks he takes pride in elevating other producers tracks by dropping them at the right time on the dancefloor in a way that brings out the best in the music.
