From a place full of mountains, valleys, lakes and deep forests in the center of Sweden called Härjedalen. Sir E packed his bags in his early twenties and headed south to experience the bustling life in a big city. Gothenburg seemed like the right choice and he has since then resided in that general area. Already in high school he got the nickname ”E” by friends and it has stuck since then. Sir E started playing & creating music at 13 years of age and during the first ten years it was all about heavy music and played in a number of different bands. However, over ten years ago he took a deep dive in the bottomless pool of 60´s & 70´s Soul & R&B treasures from across the pond and has never surfaced since.. He spent many years as a songwriter and frontman in a garage/soul/rock band called The Commotion until 2018 Sir E decided to go solo in 2020. With focus on basslines, drums, percussions, dirty organs and lots of vocal arrangements he and childhood friend/drummer Magnus Olsson concocted a sound that has become a signature mark. Musician & bassist Victor Stoltz joined the project in 2021 with a couple of songs he had laying around that worked well with the overall sound. Now in 2022 we finally have a five piece band rehearsing and getting ready to play live. Say hello to Sir E & The House of Lords soon!
