KALULU Kalulu is an initiative of songwriter/producer Marinka Stam. The project is designed to find inspiring collaborations to contribute to an ever-changing sound with a unique Kalulu soundsignature. Kalulu's first release 'Hoax' in 2016 explored the possibilities of electronics within a more traditional band setting. Working with some exceptional musicians and producers, it featured a diversity of musical styles and was well received by the Dutch press. In 2019 Kalulu released "Coats”, a collaboration between Kalulu and producer Max Abel with a significant alternative EDM sound. The combination of the soulful and emotional voice of Marinka, together with the deep electronic beats and atmospheric soundscapes, give the music its own unique sound.
