Dj Lapoze is a musician and deejay based in Kenya, Africa. He had a passion for music ever since he was 12 years old born and raised in Meru, Kenya. With a multi talent for rap, singing & Deejaying, his professional career kicked off as an event deejay from 2011. He did events and parties in Nairobi, Kenya before later on trying his luck with his other gift as a musician which he did in the Afro pop style and infused it with some hip hop. On 26TH November 2013 he released a single titled "Muganga" which is swahili for "healer". In this song he is seen to take a different spiritual path through his music career. The song was a hit in the Kenyan Gospel and secular scene. He later released "Inaweza" which was nominated as the hip hop song of the year in the Groove Awards, singles such as "Kivumbi" and many more. Dj Lapoze uses Swahili and English in his music to preach and teach. Up to now he is a re known business person and entrepreneur and his love for music is still evident as he is still releasing singles. In this wake he has been seen to establish a music business entity by the name “Massive Unit” that has been his distribution company from 2018 with him being self - signed to the entity.
