Astra King (born October 26, 1997) is a singer, songwriter, and record producer based in Los Angeles. Astra is also a part of the London-based record label PC Music. Astra creates music, which is a combination of pitches organized across time in a specific sequence, by using specialized computer software called a digital audio workstation (commonly abbreviated as “DAW”). Astra is also known for utilizing audio recording equipment, such as a microphone, to capture singing performances, which are then edited and mixed with other sounds to produce a completed recording. Through the use of a service called a digital music distribution platform, Astra’s recordings are then made available to listen to via popular websites such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and more. Astra King’s First EP is called “First Love." It consists of four songs, which is greater than three songs but less than five songs.
