Nyl Medina is “La Primera Dama” or “The First Lady” who was born in Washington, DC and raised in West Hyattsville, MD. Nyl comes from a long line of musicians, songwriters and singers. Being of Dominican Republic and Cuban decent, she was always exposed to Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, and other Latino genres growing up. Serving as a quadruple threat, Nyl writes her own lyrics, sings, raps in both English and Spanish, and is also a producer. She has a unique and very versatile voice. With her love and passion for music and art, she proudly continues representing her culture to the fullest by sharing her musical gifts, style and stories with the world.
