Bann Chakraborty is a music composer for films in advertising & features. He is based in Mumbai, India. His experience in the music business numbers over a decade, composing for ad-films with brands like Cadbury's, Colgate, Britannia and many more, most notably the 'Jaago Re' campaign for TATA Tea. 
 Bann’s latest work is for the feature film 'Plan A Plan B', a Netflix original directed by Shashanka Ghosh which released on September 30th, 2022. Apart from scoring the background music in this feature, he has composed the songs “Talli” and 'Keh Do Ke'. 'Talli' also features him singing with Sunidhi Chauhan. 
 Bann worked as a producer in the recently concluded Nexa Music project, a talent IP whose 2022 edition was curated by A. R. Rahman. After Rahman selected 24 singers, Bann produced and composed their tracks as well as mentoring the musicians as part of Season 2’s top participants. 
 His previous work in Hindi films brought him a nomination for 'Best Upcoming Composer' at the 5th Mirchi Awards in 2013; for the song 'Mar Jayian' from the feature film 'Vicky Donor' directed by Shoojit Sircar. He has worked with a number of leading singers in the Indian music industry including Vishal Dadlani, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mohit Chauhan, Neeti Mohan, Shilpa Rao and Arijit Singh. His compositions 'Le Chal Mujhey ' and 'Khoney De' for the movie 'NH10' directed by Navdeep Singh were released in 2014.
