SassyBlack is a multifaceted creative force & self-proclaimed Goddess of “psychedelic soul” & “hologram funk”. Along with her music, which has been featured on Adult Swim, BET’s “Twenties” as well as the Michelle Obama Spotify Playlist Vol. 1, TNT’s “CLAWS” her acting prowess has been featured on HBO’s Vinyl and Comedy Central’s “Broad City”. Sassy is currently writing her first musical "Emerald Jett", which was commissioned by the 5th Avenue Theatre’s First Draft program, as well as releasing numerous music projects. She has even stepped into the metaverse and sold several NFTs to date on popular marketplaces including Zora, Catalog & Soundxyz. With a decade of touring the world under her belt, Sassy steps into the position as Microsoft’s Music Director with a vision to “evolve the sonic ID of the EBS (Event Branding System)” by creating thought provoking and soul engaging musical experiences.
