Jesse "sL1cK" Perillo is a Hip Hop, Rap and R&B artist born in and currently residing in Danbury, Connecticut. sL1cK's been in the freestyle game for quite some time, polishing and perfecting the flow, whether it's on tape, on paper or by putting little raps and wordplay together in his head. Inspired by the likes of DMX, Eminem, Ruff Ryders and Rocafella, Jesse started an early foundation for lyricism and wordplay. Making moves between Connecticut and North Daytona, Florida was a common thing for sL1cK, in the same way he moves among the lyrical realm; steady. From practicing his freestyles throughout the early 2000's until sL1cK started to put together his first project in 2012, he spent more time in Danbury, CT ultimately at Thuro Type Music studio to start recording his first freestyle project titled "Gifts/ sL1cK's." It was a great experience setting that footprint down and to see concrete results from all those years of constant lyric writing. 
 In 2013 while in Florida, sL1cK recorded his OME (Open Minds Entertainment) Freestyle. Although the studio no longer exists due to recent storms, Tropical Recording Studio in Daytona Beach, Florida helped him record the freestyle contest entry that sL1cK had found and entered. Next came "Freedom" which was a single released in May of 2013, so Jesse was busy releasing singles online since 2013, and also released multiple in 2015. With also a separate project called "A Whole Nother" being completed for physical and digital release
