Jamie is the Musical Director of The Glasgow School of Art Choir, which he founded in 2012. He did so in the firm belief that anyone can sing in a high quality ensemble, regardless of musical training and their individual quality of voice, and his principal aim was to create an non-auditioned chorus which would perform to a standard far above that of an average amateur group. This remains the primary objective of the choir, and the ensemble has gained a reputation for outstanding musical discipline as well as being committed to expanding the repertoire and musicianship of its singers. The choir now has over 140 singers.
