Lesiba Chokoe (born 11 June 1998), professionally known as P Griddy, is a South African rapper and songwriter. Born and raised in Boksburg, Gauteng, Chokoe gained significance after releasing his first song “Another Day” which was released as a single on Sound Cloud in 2017. 
 Early Life 
 Lesiba Chokoe was born on 11 June 1998 in Boksburg, a small town in Gauteng, to Evelyn and Richard Chokoe. Griddy has three siblings, Kamogelo Chokoe, Neo Chokoe and Katlego Chokoe. He matriculated at P.T. Matlala Secondary School in Mokopane in 2016. He lived with his grandparents from 2013 to 2016. 
 Griddy started rapping at the age of 9. In 2015, he almost failed his grade 11 final examination due to his focus and energy being on Music only. In 2017, he relocated to Tembisa to live with his parents, where he then joined the South African Air Force in 2018.
