Lamaar is a singer and songwriter with Italian roots living in Andalusia. Her music mixes her soulful and bluesy voice with her intense love for latin, traditional and folk music, from flamenco to balkan music, from latino-American music to blues and soul. Lamaar started singing as soon as she was able to talk, but she founded her first rock band with her brother , the guitarist Marco Picaro, at the age of 15. In 2013 the two siblings founded the Rock Blues band Ramrod with which they started writing original music and touring Italy and Europe. Lamaar is the front-woman and songwriter of Ramrod and she has currently released two albums : "First Fall" and "Jet Black". In 2020 Lamaar feels that it's time to share her inner and hidden universe with the rest of the world, that's when she decides to start her solo project. Lamaar simply gives voice to her soul, without filters and limitations, mixing the musical genres that formed her.
