Zouratié Koné is a Griot. His origins (Mali-Burkina Faso) are from the Bwaba ethnic group, well known for its art talents. Born in Bobo Dioulasso (Burkina Faso), he is strongly linked to his roots. Composer, singer, musician and maker of traditional musical instruments (balafon, ngoni, kora, talking drum, djembé). He learnt to play music in the courtyards of his families. Educated in an oral culture, this outstanding musician knows hundreds of different rhythms and musical traditions coming from the Mandingo area of the West Africa, as well as a wide range of songs.
