Born Filo AhoLelei Kasenova Vaiangina Jr in the Bay Area, K’Nova is a reggae singer, song writer, poet, audio engineer and music producer. K’Nova’s journey has not been an easy one, as growing up in Oakland and Compton to I.E. California has brought struggles that would have broken most people. At the young age of 14 K’Nova fell into the life of the streets. This life caught up to K’Nova and was convicted and sent to prison from the early age of 14 to the age of 19. After serving 5 years and hitting rock bottom, it was these years behind bars, that K’Nova grew, honed his poetry, song writing and singing skills. After being released at the age of 19. He moved to Hawaii. There he met Laga Savea and Fiji and had the opportunity to showcase his talents for the first time.
