The Jesus Collective (TJC) is an evangelical music ministry that consists of a collective of well-known and upcoming musicians and singers who have a passion for spreading the gospel throughout Africa and the world. Birthed during revival worship conferences in Ashton, Montagu, Robertson, and Bonnievale in the Western Cape, it quickly spread throughout South Africa with worship experiences in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Pretoria. Well-known worshippers included Loyiso Bala, Khaya Mthethwa, Heinz Winckler, Ernie Smith, Hle, Ntokozo and Nqubeko Mbambo, Varonica Meyer, Charnell Joseph, and Don Vino. The Jesus Collective is the brainchild of Hilton Petersen whose heart for seeing people come to experience the love of Jesus through worship inspired him to start TJC, not only as a set of events but a ministry that reaches all demographics of people from the richest to the poorest.
